I have taught this yoga at both Dr Herbert Benson’s Mind/Body Medical Institute, and the Domar Center for complementary healthcare at Boston IVF directed by Dr Alice Domar. In these programs, the yoga sessions I teach are part of a comprehensive 10 week mind-body program that has been proven to have a significant impact on the fertility of program participants****.
I teach a restorative type of Hatha yoga that focuses on the breath and restful, opening postures, which can help participants release deep layers of tension. This yoga can work subtly, yet profoundly from the inside of the body out, helping practitioners let go of the physical and emotional stresses that can manifest in the hectic pace of modern life.
The yoga I teach is gentle and thus suitable for all levels. As Dr Alice Domar said, these “poses [are] designed for relaxation, peace of mind, and a healthy reconnection with your body.”
